As part of our Dog Friendly Workplaces package we will be offering live Zoom webinars on a variety of seasonal and fun topics packed with ideas, training tips and activities to try with your best furry friend!
And the best part? For our Dog Friendly Workplaces members these events are totally FREE, however you must sign up in advance through Eventbrite. We know technology is often confusing at the best times, so to make this process as easy as possible for you, we have put together a handy step-by-step guide to make sure you don’t miss a second of our Paw-some webinars!
To book tickets:
Select the booking link within the promotional article on our website to head over to Eventbrite and secure your place at one of our webinars.
Select the green “Register” button on the Eventbrite event page .
Before you can book your ticket, you will be asked to register for or log in to your Eventbrite account. If you don’t have an Eventbrite account, please create one using the same name and email address as you use for Zoom.
If you don’t have a Zoom account yet, this is a good time to create one! You will need both accounts so that you can access the event when it goes live (so if creating new accounts make sure you make a note of your passwords and keep them safe!)
You can now proceed with booking your ticket.
When you have booked your ticket, you should see a confirmation screen.
In addition, you’ll also receive a confirmation email.
To join the event:
Shortly before the event, you will receive reminder emails from Eventbrite which will contain links to “Join the event”. Be sure to allow yourself enough time to log into Eventbrite to join the webinar.
You can either click on “join the event” which will take you to the log in screen on Eventbrite (note, you may have to ask Eventbrite to send you a log in link if you did not set up a password on your account!) or you can go to Eventbrite’s home page and log in from there.
Once you log in, you will see a button in the top right hand corner for “tickets” or if the event is close to starting you can click “Join now” in the pop up window .
If you select “tickets” you will see this page. Click “access online event” which will bring you to the event details page.
This will bring you to the same page as you would access if you clicked “Join now” in the popup.
Here you will have some options: Either click the Zoom link (which will open Zoom) and enter meeting passcode
Or alternatively you can click the “Open in Zoom” link, which will also open Zoom (and ask you to enter passcode)
A final option (if you can’t get in via Zoom) is to click the red “Join now” button which will bring you to a page within Eventbrite that looks like this.
You will then need to click the blue “Join” button to access the event.
Whether you’ve accessed the event through Zoom or Eventbrite, now its time to sit back and enjoy the webinar!
